The Stranger Exchange Program
‘The Stranger Exchange Program’ deals with overcoming the fear of the stranger…breaking down the barriers faced in the unknown; the place, the person, the object. Through a series of documented interactions between myself and strangers in 6 different cities, I attempted to develop a new methodology for generating spaces. In an attempt to quantify the collected data, I plotted survey results onto 3D graphs, from which a series of mesh planes were produced. Each plane is unique and reflects the individuality and subjective nature of each stranger exchange.
By combining the forms produced from each experience, a series of interiors is generated.
